Euro Plast is a family business founded in 1968 in Zagreb. Ten years earlier, in 1958, Josip Zakanj goes to work temporarily in Germany, where in 1962 he opened his own company "Export - Import Josip Zakanj". As part of the company he also opens a small hotel "Paradies" in the town of Schwenningen, which became a favorite gathering place of Croats in the Schwarzwald. The company and hotel operates successfully until 1968 when the owner decides to return home. Capital acquired in Germany is invests in trade 'Euro Plast "which operates to this day, and from which they were derived other successful companies.
Plastic processing, specifically the production of packaging for microfilm constitute a major share of production, which has been around for 50 years. Product quality and seriousness of the business resulted in cooperation with renowned companies in the field of microfilm in the EU. Therefore, the export account for more than 95% of our microfilm products.
